At Faith Church, we worship together...why worship?
Our chief purpose in life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. At no other time of the week and in no other place is that intended to be more apparent than when the church gathers to publicly celebrate Jesus Christ as the one supremely worthy of our praise and honor. Public worship is a foretaste of what awaits us in heaven. It’s where we sing praise, pray together, hear the proclamation of the Word of God and celebrate the sacraments.
Worship is central in the Christian life because we were designed by God to praise. The question is not whether you worship. Everyone worships something. The question is what you worship. At Faith, we strive to create an environment where we are weekly reminded that the God revealed to us in the Bible, and that God alone, is worthy of our worship and praise. He alone is our ultimate comfort, satisfaction and joy. If you are a committed Christian, we believe you will find our services to be grounded in a rich theological tradition yet freshly relevant to the modern world. If you are questioning and searching, then we hope you will find the experience helpful as you learn more about the God who offers himself to you through the work of Jesus Christ.
We gather weekly on Sunday mornings with two service options, both focused on musical excellence and biblical teaching that shows how the gospel of Jesus Christ applies to all of life.
9:00am - Contemporary Worship
11:15am - Traditional Worship
Livestream of each service can be found on YouTube.com/faithwilmington
We can also be heard on WDEL 101.7 FM and 1150 AM on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
