OUR PURPOSE

Our Student Ministry programs serve students in 7th - 12th grade and provide access to all 3 of our essential components: worship, learning, and community. Our goal for the students is that they are able to say that they have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and because of that relationship live a transformed life.

If you have questions or want more information about how to connect, please contact Mike Yurik, our associate pastor for youth & children's ministries.

WAYS TO CONNECT

Worship

Join us for worship at 9:00am (contemporary) or 11:15am (traditional).

Sunday School

We meet every Sunday morning at 10:15am in room 209.

Youth Group

On Sunday nights at 6pm, students in grades 7-12 meet in the Youth Room for a time of games, worship, and lessons. Check our calendar for what dates we are meeting; we sometimes have special times or different activities.

Monthly Activities

Throughout the year we have various activities, including game nights, a trip to go laser tagging, and an escape room night, just to name a few. These various activities allow students to get to know each other better and a great way for students to introduce their friends to the youth leaders.

Winter Retreat

RETREATS & MINISTRIES

Retreats - a time to get away and reflect on Christ

Winter Retreat
Each February we get away to the mountains to have fun with friends, connect with God, and study His word. It is a fun time of tubing, games, and reflection.

Fall 'Reality Factor' Retreat
Our October retreat with other churches in our presbytery (our geographical region of churches in our denomination) offers the excitement of high ropes courses, climbing walls, and lots of fun with engaging worship and powerful teaching.

Missions & Ministries - impacting others with the Gospel

Summer Missions Trip
Each Summer, we coordinate a missions trip to live out what we believe by meeting physical and spiritual needs of those around us.  We coordinate local, regional, and international trips.

Urban Promise Camp
Annually, we partner with Urban Promise Wilmington to host a kids camp right here at Faith Church.  Our Students help cook, coordinate games, play, and interact with the kids at the camp.  It is typically a Friday night and Saturday morning event.  www.urbanpromise.org
