Apologetics
The Apostle Peter made sure to tell us 2000 years ago "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for teh hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15). And the Apostle Paul adds "Since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." (Romans 1:20). Let's use God's creation and our reason to share God's existence with a hurting world. This course will get you prepared to defend your faith to non-believers and skeptics, as well as bolster your own faith in the existence of our great God! Topics will include: the history of apologetics, why we should study apologetics, why God created the universe, life's origins, the reliability of Scripture, why all religions don't lead to God, why science and Christianity aren't enemies, ...and more!
